Tip of the month! February: Raising the floor

This month’s tip is short and sweet. I have noticed the dreaded light strip in many of the photo-realistic pictures made by our users. It is a little imperfection but one that can be avoided very easily.

It all comes from a little known fact that the floor normally sits at an elevation of -1 cm. It is a programming issue imbedded in version 7 of Palette CAD.

To fix it, simply select the floor in the “Plan” view and then change the value in the “Elevation” field to 0.

The results always speak for themselves. Beautiful looking sun lit pictures.

Well that’s it from me for another month. Get planning!
